In Journalism school, I was called out for having too much fluff in my writing.
I wanted to express myself, showcase the color of a story; professors wanted me to chase the lead, provide the facts in black and white.

After twenty five years of marketing everything from $8 facial cleansers to $3500 double-ply cashmere coats, I came full circle, becoming a writer.

While I focus on fashion, beauty and wellness — often as seen through the lens of aging — there is still expression in my writing, but I have learned that even the richest tale often resembles my minimalist wardrobe –
it’s black and white.
